On the meter

All taxi journeys that start and finish within the Waverley Borough Council boundaries are charged by the meter. This is the law, so always ensure your driver abides by it, but only if a meter is fitted, which is not the case with Private Hire vehicles. If you book a Private Hire vehicle then the price MUST be agreed upon beforehand. Haslemere-based taxis calculate the charge from the station. The meter rate is set by Waverley Council and is calculated to reflect the cost of running a car as a taxi- it was increased in the Summer 2022 to reflect the cost of fuel and living. NB. It alters automatically to time and a half between 2300 and 0700

Airports

Heathrow T5 from the Haslemere area. £90 - from 0600 to 2300. You can see all the airports pricing from the Haslemere area here

We charge £90 and £95 respectively for the two most popular airport taxi trips to Heathrow T5 and Gatwick. These are our base prices and the £5 drop-off charge now in place at Heathrow and Gatwick are extra- as are any parking charges incurred to park and meet in the terminal. NB. With the huge increase in fuel prices, Heathrow terminals 2,3, and 4 are now £95 plus the £5 drop-off charge.

Haslemere Taxi to London - 0600 to 2300

We have set taxi prices for the Greater London area from Haslemere and the surrounding villages and towns. The average to and from the central areas, e.g the theatre district, is now at £140 plus the £15 Congestion Charge. We offer a Drop & Wait for service and charge £30ph, so your ride back is ‘free’. Haslemere Long-Distance Taxi

Our rates for longer distances are cheaper than the meter prices. We will quote you for any taxi ride from the Haslemere area to any destination in the UK and Ireland. We take business people to meetings they cannot miss due to the train being unreliable, and the driver will act as your chauffeur to include multiple drops and be nearby for your convenience once finished.
